I'm not suggesting that John Woo is one of my favorite directors, I do not want to say once again that I have seen many of his films behave moderately, but his trademark catches the eye very quickly and leaves a lasting impression – at least for me. Because why else I ask myself every time a slow-motion sequence accompanied by heroic music before, just because I startled a few pigeons that sat before me on the way?
This is exactly that, which incorporates action master John Woo in all his films. No matter where, no matter how and no matter when, there is always at least one slow motion scene in which birds fly through photo's – usually just pigeons. Thus, in example, “Face / Off in the body of the enemy” or seen “Mission: Impossible 2″.
Nothing spectacular, but effective and clearly his personal brand recognition.

Let us for the moment only einemal at the Hollywood action director Michael Bay and go to . Here too, it quickly becomes clear who has taken behind the camera on the Registuhl place, if you have the degrees from bottom to top run 360 Close of the protagonist himself. And often in combination with a hopeless and exhausted look in the distance, just the performer. Seen in “Bad Boys,” “Transformers” or “The Rock”.
Unfortunately I could not embed the video directly on the following page, so if you want to see just a compilation of these scenes, please click here.

Quite different director Sam Raimi. The hallmark of the car enthusiast is not quite so obvious and a little more difficult to detect. In most, if not in all his films, he is somehow his private car, a yellow 1973 Oldsmobile Delta 88 at scene. A taste?! Check out the trailer for “Spider-Man”. The car, the Spider-Man jumps at minute 1:47, is the sought-after car.

His film “Sudden Death” is one of the few films where the inclusion of the car was not possible, simply because of the fact that it is a western. One of the characters in the film insists, however, that the car was still seen indirectly in the film. This was probably the extent rebuilt, leaving only the chassis was left and this was used to move one of the covered wagon.

Facebook is great! Because otherwise I probably would have learned of the existence of the following videos and you would never not had the benefit of the shuffle mode. Already in December 2009 was of the Stargate Studios uploaded a video on Youtube, which focuses on his way in the magic of Hollywood.

To be precise, it comes to the use of the famous “blue screen “. In recent years came as an alternative to the use of increasingly green as background color and the “Green Screen ” was born. Therefore applies the term “Blue Screen” is not necessarily accurate, but the technique and purpose remains the same for both versions.

“blue screen” or “green screens ” are now taken for granted not only on big blockbuster productions, but also during filming of smaller series. It's no longer just a matter Fanatsiewelten or background scenes that are almost inaccessible to realize. Use of this technique is so far advanced that even for normal “standard.” – Will fall back on these scenes, animation technology, rather than relocate to the filming of the original sites

Cut together “behind the scenes' – Video of the Stargate Studios impressively shows how simple recordings are already supported by” green screens “. Even if a little bit of Hollywood magic is being destroyed because I find the video very interesting and I've now looked at me for the third time.

” Mission: Impossible Phantom Protocol” is for me to the movies, to which I currently am somehow most. Yes, it is a rather stupid blockbuster production and also has the acting skills of Tom Cruise can argue, but when it comes to entertainment and excitement counts, for me, “Mission: Impossible” is still one of the best film series .

Disregarding

times of a somewhat weak, because a bit exaggerated, “M: I 2″ off could convince all the parts 1 and 3 by tension and thrills. Especially the last part, with Philip Seymour Hoffman as an opponent to cruise, I was completely drawn into its spell, as it has been done a long time no film.

The greater

also my expectations “ Mission: Impossible Phantom Protocol“. With Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner, Michael Nyqvist, Josh Holloway and Simon Pegg, the film can sometimes trumps with well known names. Whether he actually delivers what it promises, we may be from 15.12.2011 to experience in the German cinemas.

As a small

Vorgschmack, I have at this point an overview of the central locations and a great “Behind the Scenes” video of the “Mission: Impossible” – compiled three

. Prague
The “Golden City” is one of the many locations for the film. In the ornate ballroom of the castle was allowed to “Mission: Impossible” film crew as the first team ever turn a scene in the film which is then the Moscow Kremlin. However, a disused prison and a few houses Communists came into view of the camera.

Vancouver
The Canadian multi-cultural metropolis of Vancouver, especially the large downtown area, and the seaport of ideal conditions to be converted to film in pretty much every part of the world. For “Mission: Impossible Phantom Protocol” means the site of the city the same for several other large cities has been transformed. The sand storms and hotel suites of Dubai were staged here, as well as the streets of Moscow or the oppressively humid-roads of Mumbai.

There was a sweepstakes with free cinema tickets, a live stream to the premiere in London and of course I'm also developing in the U.S. and followed the German box office movie charts. With total revenue in the first week in the amount of € 1,118,660, the film could reach at least a solid fourth place in the German charts.

Now it's time to report again on this exciting genre mix, because “Cowboys & Aliens” will be published at the beginning of the new year on DVD and Blu-ray.

Who wants to see that

Harrison Ford and Daniel Craig in a mix of Western and science fiction you would only need a little patience.

” I am number four” is an American teen novel by Pittacus Lore, the pseudonym of two authors, James Frey and Jobie Hughes and the first part of the “Lorien Legacies” series, the expected 6 will include books. The book itself was published in August 2010, Touchstone Pictures and DreamWorks Pictures have secured but in June 2009, the rights to film and so it happened that in February 2011, the book adaptation in the cinemas.

Alex Pettyfer plays

number four, one of nine survivors of an alien planet, who fled to Earth to be there to hide from the vicious Mogadorianern. These make the young people with supernatural abilities, however, identify and begin to kill one by one. So it is time that those remaining defend themselves and use their real strengths in the fight against the Mogadorianer ..

German trailer for “I'm number four”

Film review of “I'm number four” is “I'm number four” a poppier Teen Movie soundtrack with upbeat, a very nice story but unfortunately with a rather flat story.
Although I have not read the books, I hope so, that was the charm of the books that have at least made it into the bestseller charts, lost in the implementation. Because the film is indeed entertaining 100 minutes, but its potential costs are far from sufficient.

Regarding the special effects, these are quite impressive built and implemented. They never seem forced or artificial.

Error of the film, it may also lose that excitement and stimulus already in the first few minutes, because the evil at the beginning of the movie gets a facial. The filmmakers have no place here for your own imagination or the slow buildup of a voltage curve. In addition, the Mogadorianer be shown also quite disappointing and almost ridiculous. Chunky boots, long coats, tattoos on his head instead of hair and sharp teeth. Oh, and do not forget the gill-like openings in addition to his nose to let them not look too human.

The juvenile

Haupdarsteller adapt to the whole scene and just as a wise adviser Timothy Olyphant and protectors raises a bit of Hollywood flair.

“ I am number four” has been designed from the start on a sequel. If and when the movie really going places and to see a direction in which the story develops, the movie already come to an end.
The good news in this context has been that the continuation of “The Power of Six” already published in 2012 as an English book, and already the third volume of “The Rise of Nine” is planned. Assuming that the producers are satisfied with the revenue, so fans should hope for a continuation of the short film series.

My current tip, even if it requires very much patience, is that you wait until all the best, all listed parts have been published.
In the worst case this will not happen just because the box office of “I'm number four” was too low, but in this case you would have missed out on anything.
I can imagine that if the first saga is finished, a quite remarkable series of results.

A small clarification, I must at the very beginning of “War of the Gods” film critics do. While one reads again and again, among other things just in the official press books, the great slogan “from the makers of 300″, but in my view this is simply an embellishment of the facts.
The fact is that I really just in a hurry to producers Mark Canton've found that has worked both in “War of the Gods” and “300″. Neither the site of the Regiseeurs, nor the authors of the script or else it was a central place occupied a similar way.

Although

must “War of the Gods” compared with the “300″ fallen simply because of the subject, can speak but of a similar production-Cast I find excessive.

Ruthless King Hyperion leads his army on a murderous campaign across Greece, in search of a magical bow that will give him the strength to liberate the Titans and destroy mankind and the gods.
The last hope rests on the shoulders of the warrior Theseus, who, blessed by the gods, goes to war against Hyperion's army.

German trailer for “War of the Gods”

Film review of “War of the Gods”

The visually stunning and quite violently epic battle may well trump with stunning photographs, well-choreographed fight scenes and an entertaining story. But it is inevitable that during a visit to the cinema again comes the comparison to “300″ comes to mind.

Thus, the tours are

camera and capture images in total and well worth seeing again and again on their way exceptional, but it has all been a bit better seen in Zack Snyder's “300″.
Even the fight scenes, with never becoming boring and slow motion sequences of bloody brutality are absolutely, totally entertaining, but they can not compete with the “original”.

As for the story, so similar to “War of the Gods” and “300″ not only at first glance.
A small army in actually losing battle against an overwhelming majority of bloodthirsty and belligerent creatures and an evil leader who can celebrate yourself as a god.
But this happens to be the stuff of Greek mythology and also the stuff of great Schlachtenepen be made.

After the

, especially compared with “300″, now somewhat more negatively tinged comments, I will not deny you, but the big plus points.
Above all, Mickey Rourke, who represents the King Hyperion with a viciousness that is unparalleled. Gestures, facial expressions, action fits even his German Snychronstimme like hand in glove, and in every scene take him off the role perfectly.

Actor Henry Cavill is

me so far have not come so often, however, brings a solid performance, with the role for me as a whole is a little too stereotypical. The handsome, battle-hardened No one who draws the last hope of humanity in the war. Moreover paves over the course of events in a love relationship, so that he too, oh what a surprise, the most beautiful woman gets.
Although one must say that the usual Hollywood love banter is still just as friendly in the frame.

Nice to look at the representation of their gods and, unfortunately, too few to fight scenes. This was not stingy with the fake blood and a slow motion sequence joins to the next. Perhaps in hindsight it was actually a bit too much of a good thing, but Zeus and Athena could I ever look at her battle against the Titans.

Another little note at the end: FSK 16 release, I personally find a bit too generous. “War of the Gods” would certainly deserves an FSK 18, as such tortures, massacres and blood levels for a long time I have not seen in cinemas. Or maybe I'm just soft.

“ War of the Gods” provides exactly what you'd expect from the film, when one has seen the trailer in advance and be a bit busy with the subject has. Unfortunately, there is hardly prepared new, old but very well known. The use of 3D technology while revamping the one scene or another, but draws the potential far from enough.
