One

it's hard to believe how often Hollywood stars have refused roles that her career would give a completely different direction. Probably an indication of how unpredictable and erratic may be the ultimate success of a film and you can make only due to a script or an idea hardly a right decision.

Not infrequently have marked major film roles as an actor but the role of self-sustainable or just get through this one actor that extra mile. The more difficult it is to imagine what would become of the film, if someone had taken an entirely different role.

I have compiled a small selection of you and am curious if you've heard this before, or if you have even more such examples.

Will Smith in “Matrix”
Could you imagine, for example, Will Smith as the elect of Neo in “Matrix”? Because based on IMDB has rejected this out of the role.
In the “Matrix” universe, there have been a second interesting development. Morpheus, who was at the end of gepsielt Laurence Fishburne, should actually be played by Sean Connery. Allegedly because he did not understand the script, he refused the role.

Harrison Ford in “Jurassic Park”
A slightly smaller role, but nonetheless a very historic role, Harrison Ford has declined. He got the offer to Dr. Alan Grant in “Jurassic Park” embody refused, but with thanks and the role eventually went to Sam Neill. Of this character but in a very “Indiana Jones” – has interpreted style

. Paul Newman in “Jaws” and “Ben Hur”
Paul Newman had already twice demonstrated a poor hands. In 1975 he declined the role of Quint in “Jaws” and from as early as 1959 he was offered
Judah Ben-Hur from the “Ben Hur” which he also refused. Allegedly on the grounds that he would not have the legs to wear a tunic.

Denzel Washington in “Seven” and “Michael Clayton”
Can look back even if Denzel Washington already has a very impressive and successful career, there were still two decisions that in hindsight were perhaps not quite as good. In 1995, he has decided against the role of Detective David Mills in “Seven,” which went to Brad Pitt and George Clooney in 2007, “Michael Clayton” cast as main characters, because Washington has been canceled.

Currently, I can fire you today the first official U.S. trailer for “The Hunger – The Hunger Games” present. Just a few hours, the trailer officially premiere at the morning show “Good Morning America” and was also available on iTunes. Of course, then it has not lasted too long, until a second version has surfaced on YouTube and that's what you see here on the page.

Long had fans on the worldwide bestseller pictures are waiting for the filming. Recently it was released the first teaser trailer, which could at least give a first impression of the film. Just last week I present you the badge and character today it has finally arrived and a 2:30 trailer shows never before shown scenes of “The Hunger”.

A little disappointed I was, because the fast moving items from the teaser trailer to go in the latest version of something lost and the whole film is also something to lose pace. Nevertheless, one should keep in mind that it is “just” a trailer and the movie will be pretty impressive either way.
In my estimation, is “The Hunger” to classics like “The Lord of the Rings” tie and “Harry Potter” and “Twilight” should attract even warming up.

Blu-ray release of “Finding Nemo” is an issue that concerns me again and again and again and again probably arises from my readers. Because until recently, my article “No more Blu-ray launch of 'Finding Nemo',” commented Manja by pointing out that it probably is new information.

According to internet sources, it should come in the next year but actually a Blu-ray release. Quote: “Approximate July 2013 “.
I can not say exactly when this entry was made on the site, nor can I determine what is the source of this information. Is known, however, that release dates can move again and again, and especially for Blu-ray starting to “Finding Nemo” was and is it always new statements.

Because not only did

myself a special interest in this Blu-ray release, but apparently she longs for such, I have sometimes turned directly to the online PR agency that manages this title, in the hope where to get more information.
To be proactive pays off, and so in this case. Although I have received no final commitment, and certainly not an exact release date, but at least I received a statement which I do not want to hide from you.

In recent days I've finally found some time to look after a couple of new shirts movie quotes. The most difficult is that the mass of the great movie quotes and filter out the really good especially for a t-shirt usable quotes. That to me is how I think in the first 8 Shirts succeeded very well and the latest can be quite impressive.

To get her shop on either the external Filmfreek Spreadshirt shop page or directly here on the blog on the menu shirt shop.

“In heaven that's all they talk about, the ocean”
Knocking on heaven's door is in my view not only the best film Til Schweiger but also a film full of brilliant dialogue. But none is so emotional and well-staged as the little soliloquy of Rutger Hauer … “so you better run. You're running out of time “.

“The coolness has to resonate in the subtext”
With “lamb goat” comes at this point again a quote from a German film. I admit, though some embarrassing ashamed that I have not seen the movie, but I am absolutely excited about the movie quotes that I've picked up.

“You four-eyed pile of shit”
One of many quotes from the youth-buddy-movie classic “Stand by me”. The decision to quote only a lot of pretty heavy and it will definitely be followed by others.

The films for the category “Best Film fremdpsrachiger” have already been submitted to the mass of 63 contributions, the final nominations for the Oscars, and now proceed to determine the animation films compete for the Oscar trophy. A few days ago 18 films that were submitted, which have now chances of a nomination for “Best Animated Film”.

Besides the big Pixar, Disney and Fox productions are also a few more films here that could reach so far, at least not the attention of the masses. This includes both the Czech contribution “Alois Nebel,” and the Belgian Post, “A Cat in Paris.” Despite a healthy dose of optimism, but a win is unlikely. Because these films usually run out of empty, even if they make it to the round of nominees, the list of previous winners, which consists solely of audience favorites. This includes films like “Toy Story 3″.

Here's the overview of all 18 entries submitted for the Oscars 2012

“The Adventures of Tintin”
“Alois Nebel”
“Alvin and the Chipmunks 3: chip fracture”
“Arthur Christmas”
“Cars 2″
“A Cat in Paris”
“Chico & Rita”
“Gnomeo & Juliet”
“Happy Feet 2″
“The Little Red-ultimatum”
“Kung Fu Panda 2″
“Milo and Mars”
“Puss in Boots”
“Rango”
“Rio”
“The Smurfs”
“Winnie the Pooh”
“Wrinkles”

Some of the films that have been in the category “Best Animated Film ” already filed, have not even currently meets all the requirements for nomination. At least eight films must still lie alone this year a theatrical release in Los Angeles, otherwise the nomination will not be possible.

Much time has passed since I presented the last intermediate state of German cinema box office charts. Unfortunately there were technical problems in the past week, so I had to cancel one week. Now everything works fine again, however, and you get as usual on Wednesday morning, your weekly dose chart statistics.

“The Adventures of Tintin” is already in the second week in a row at No. 1 on the German box office. Even after all the four newcomers in the last week could not change that, even if the highest placed newcomer “Paranormal Activity 3″ quite the success story of its predecessor and tops already linked its opening weekend, the attendance of the first part. With revenue from the first opening weekend in the amount of € 2,070,455, the film missed the top spot just barely.

Follow behind the seats 3, 4 and 5, the newcomers “Real Steel” starring Hugh Jackman, the novel adaptation of “Two in one day” with Anne Hathaway and the new Ben Stiller comedy “casual gangster”.
4 newcomers also means four films, which inevitably had to leave the Top 10. These include “Breathless,” “What changed”, “Hotel Lux” and “men's hearts … and the very great love,” who has spent at least 7 weeks in the Top 10.

Current “top earners” and also a “oldie” in the German box office movie charts is “Vicky on a long journey,” who in his six weeks duration could import at least € 12,054,059.
